Description/Bio:
Bryon Thompson is gifted singer/songwriter, recording artist and extraordinary teacher. He can be found either on stage performing, teaching music and voice lessons (online/at home) or providing nature programs for countless organizations. He has a degree in Music Education from the University of Victoria and is a Multi-instrumentalist playing a variety of instruments such as Dobro, Guitar, Lap Steel, Mandolin and Ukulele. His personal background is in Jazz, Swing, Folk, Bluegrass and Rock. As a lead vocalist, Bryon commands the room. His rich baritone voice is filled with emotion that draws you in when he performs.
Freda Eckstein is a musician, singer, songwriter and recording artist who has been featured on CBC radio and TV backing up such notables as Ken Hamm and Wil Millar. Her main instrument is bass but she also plays mandolin and Ukulele. Together as “Huckleberry Holler” they are musicians who love to spread their enthusiasm of music. Their unique renditions and soaring harmonies make this duo an unforgettable force to reckon with. They are passionate about sharing the joy of music with others through performing and organizing and leading jam sessions.
