In this workshop, we delve into the imitation of nature through abstract artistic expression. Using vibrant magazine clippings and a collage layering technique, participants will craft stunning 3D renditions of hummingbirds. To complement the hummingbirds, we will also create beautiful flowers, further enhancing our compositions with nature’s elegance.

Elise Mulder is a Cobble Hill based sculptural artist whose work is inspired by nature and finding a new use for materials. She is currently attending VIU for a bachelor of Graphic Design.
