Calling all Songwriters!

Are you a songwriter who yearns to complete songs but have trouble making the time? Or do you dream of learning to write songs and need a boost to begin? We at CSAG have a brand new Songwriter Workshop facilitated by Victoria based folk singer songwriter Claire Coupland on Sat, April 18th, 2026 from 1-4pm at Shawnigan Lake Community Centre.

Songs, Melodies, and Words, Wonderful Words!

Workshop participants each bring an original song/s they are working on to play (or voice memo) for the group, along with lyrics/chords. Together, the group discusses lyrics, form, melody, chords and message in a unique and supportive environment! Each person will have a chance to share their song, and get suggestions & feedback from their peers and facilitator. Donation suggested $10-$20 to help cover room rental.
