Participants will use liquid watercolour to play on hot pressed paper. We will explore properties of watercolour paints and how they move on different kinds of paper, then use these understandings to improvise images.
Artist Bio: Sylvia Swift is a visual and performance artist whose creativity thrives on connecting with her surroundings. Trained in stagecraft and mentored by artists, she has exhibited in galleries across B.C. since the 1990s, sharing her passion through both her art and teaching. Her studio and gallery is located in Shawnigan Lake.
