SUMMARY:Spring Eco Prints on Paper & Slip Knot Binding with Nora Ready
DESCRIPTION:Participants will forage spring foliage to use in processing prints on paper using a steam and/or immersion method of botanical print making. We will assemble simple\, slip knot bound booklets with prepared papers. \nSome supplies provided\, participants are also welcome to bring/share materials! \nNora is an experienced art facilitator and active fibre artist with membership in the Vancouver Island Surface Design Association and the Canadian Fibre Arts Network. \nReserve Your Spot Now\nThe workshop fee is non-refundable 7 days prior to workshop. Prior to 7 days notice\, $5 held back for administrative fee.

It takes each of us to make the effort\, whether small or grand\, to keep our Shawnigan Lake a beautiful destination and beautiful place to live and play. Let’s all take a bit of time during Earth Week to make Shawnigan shine. Join the Community Clean up on April 25\, or Adopt a favourite place year-round and let us know at ShawniganCleanUpEvent@gmail.com. We are building a network and we’d like to put you on the map. On April 25 we will be joined by Whimsy Caravan from Cowichan South Arts Guild with a youth-oriented art project\, Shawnigan Basin Society\, and Quw’utsun Cultural Connections with their western red cedar restoration project – so please check us out and bring the family.
