DESCRIPTION:“It takes a Village ……To protect its Beauty” is our Event’s new motto. And it’s true. It takes each of us to make the effort\, whether small or grand\, to keep our Shawnigan Lake a beautiful destination and beautiful place to live and play. Let’s all take a bit of time during Earth Week to make Shawnigan shine. Join the Community Clean up on April 25\, or Adopt a favourite place year-round and let us know at ShawniganCleanUpEvent@gmail.com. We are building a network and we’d like to put you on the map. On April 25 we will be joined by Whimsy Caravan from Cowichan South Arts Guild with a youth-oriented art project\, Shawnigan Basin Society\, and Quw’utsun Cultural Connections with their western red cedar restoration project – so please check us out and bring the family.
