SUMMARY:Painting Water with Acrylic - Sampler Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Painting Water with Acrylic\n \nJoin Roger Jackson for a 3-hour Sampler Series Workshop on Saturday Feb 11\, 2023 at Shawnigan Lake Community Centre.  Roger is a well-known local artist and instructor.  His approach to teaching is that it’s not really teaching; it’s more guiding\, encouraging and building confidence.  If you haven’t yet had a chance to take an art class from Roger here is your chance. \n\n “We live on an island so water is all around. Water is an interesting\, challenging subject to paint. It is normally in motion\, doesn’t sit and pose for you. The colour of the water is affected by light\, environmental conditions\, particles suspended in the water\, depth and distance from the viewer. In this workshop we’ll focus on the ocean but will talk about the different approaches for urban/freshwater scenes.”\n\nCost of this workshop is $25.00 for members and $35.00 for non-members.
