DESCRIPTION:Sampler Series – Unlocking & Stocking the Poet’s Word\nwith Leanne Boschman\n\nThe term ‘word-hoard’ appears in Old English literature on several occasions. It doesn’t imply stowing away but rather\, suggests a collection of something valuable and refers to the power of speech\, verse and story-telling. Since poets work with language\, words of all kinds are our treasured medium.  In this workshop\, participants will discover and stock their word-hoards with the kinds of words that reflect their interests\, sensibility\, and sensory responses to the world around them.
