DESCRIPTION:Part embroidery\, part abstract collage\, slow stitching combines colours\, layers and textures in a meditative process using reclaimed fabrics & adornments to create a unique textile collage art piece. Instructional workshop covers several basic starting stitches\, all levels welcome. \nSupplies provided\, participants also welcome to bring/share materials! \nMegan Spedding is a Cowichan Valley-based textile artist whose hand stitch work is inspired by nature\, ritual\, repurposed materials & the raw edges of imperfection.
