We supply the space, the conversation & the community. You bring your transportable project - drawing, painting, needle or handiwork, beading, weaving, or any creative art/craft item that you can transport & easily clean up.
Come & learn the diversity of this sweet 4 stringed instrument. If you are just beginning, have not played in awhile, or want to improve, this 3 hr workshop is for you! Laurel will guide participants through learning/reviewing the basics and honing their skills & strums for the next level. Cost of the workshop covers a booklet with information & songs for practicing at home. Participants should bring their own ukulele in ‘C’ tuning, for consistency. Email [email protected] to reserve your spot.
Non-instructional opportunity for you to fearlessly paint, sketch & create like no one is watching! Artists of all abilities welcome, beginner to accomplished. We would be pleased to have you join in the ongoing adventure of building community while working on canvas & paper.

Come & enjoy listening to this monthly gathering of semi professional & professional musicians as they take to the stage in spontaneously created groupings, each performing 2 - 3 songs. A great way for musicians to network & explore making music together, supported by the House Band 'Turnip the Beet' who will perform at the beginning & end of the evening.
In this workshop, techniques will be explored which will allow the participants to enjoy hands on experience with creating their own original handmade relief prints. Participants will experience printing on a couple of different surfaces or plates using colourful, non toxic printing inks. This workshop is suitable for adults & mature teens.
Family friendly! The Cowichan Folk Dancers will be leading a dance too!
CSAG members, friends & their guests are invited to an intimate evening of Music in the Garden, in a cozy, colourful Shawnigan Lake setting.
