Papier Maché with Iris Churcher
Shawnigan Lake Community Centre 2804 Shawnigan Lake Road, Shawnigan Lake, B.C.In this workshop, Iris will teach the process of creating simple armature with applied paper to build a small sculpture. She will also include the option of creating a small bowl using papier maché pulp. Hand outs will be provided & as this medium requires drying time, Iris will lead us to a point where the project could be completed at home. Iris is a very accomplished illustrator, a retired graphic design educator (18 yrs at VIU), & a passionate artist who explores a variety of mediums. We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to learn from Iris.
