Sampler Series

In this workshop, Iris will teach the process of creating simple armature with applied paper to build a small sculpture. She will also include the option of creating a small bowl using papier maché pulp. Hand outs will be provided & as this medium requires drying time, Iris will lead us to a point where the project could be completed at home. Iris is a very accomplished illustrator, a retired graphic design educator (18 yrs at VIU), & a passionate artist who explores a variety of mediums. We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to learn from Iris.

Using ink and watercolour, Penny will lead you through her simple heart led methods, in greeting card size! No experience or talent required. Penny is an internationally-known artist with a lifetime of experience drawing. Predominantly self-taught, Penny’s style has evolved from total realism to her soulfil character drawings of today.
